Dennoch; Die üppige Ausstattung mit einer 5 Megapixel Kamera, überzeugendem Musicplayer und sogar GPS-Empfänger rechtfertigen den Preis durchaus. Durch UMTS fällt auch die Internetverbindung recht schnell aus, wenngleich auf WLAN leider verzichtet wurde. Dieses bieten die ähnlich ausgestatteten Modelle N82 oder N78.
Auch in Sachen Sprachqualität weiß das 6220 classic zu gefallen, obwohl ein störendes Hintergrundrauschen nicht von der Hand zu weisen ist. Die Steuerung verursacht, ein wenig schwammig geraten, leichte Abzüge. Potentiellen Käufern, die den Klassenprimus N82 noch als zu teuer empfinden, ist das Nokia 6220 classic mit seinem breit gefächerten Multimedia-Angebot und GPS-Empfänger an Bord durchaus zu empfehlen.  "
